FEELING vs. FUNCTION
The main purpose of chiropractic care is to eliminate any issues impacting the spine and nervous system in order to restore and maintain the body’s ability to function at 100%.
There are 3 TYPES of NERVES that transmit information within the nervous system.
AUTONOMIC NERVES control involuntary functions of organs, glands and blood vessels such as heart rate, digestion, hormones, breathing & body temperature.
DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS – POOR POSTURE – HORMONAL IMBALANCE – SEXUAL PROBLEMS – LOWERED IMMUNITY – HEART CONDITIONS – BREATHING PROBLEMS – ALLERGIES – URINARY PROBLEMS
MOTOR NERVES control muscles, tissues & nerves.
LOW ENERGY – POOR POSTURE – MUSCLE SPASMS – WEAKNESS – TIGHTNESS– FATIGUE
SENSORY NERVES relay sensory information from the body to the brain.
PAIN – NUMBNESS – TINGLING
Sensory nerves make up only a very small portion of your nervous system. This means that you can have autonomic or motor issues without experiencing any sensory issues such as pain.
The absence of pain does not equal good health.
